Floating windows using Prototype

With enterprise application moving towards cloud computing there are a lot of desktop apps moving towards a webtop model. In this new model Ajax plays a critical role & many application have started emulating the existing desktop application features on the web. One such feature is the Windows/dialog box, though Javascript alert boxes can serve the purpose but it has inherent limitations due to which it cannot be used in all scenarios & an Ajax dialog box makes it the much needed one for web based apps. This tutorial serves a similar purpose of generating a window / alert box using prototype.
